Port City Worship

Port City Worship is a worship collective based out of Mobile, Alabama. Our desire is to lead people to Jesus through passionate worship, write songs for the global Church, and most of all, make Jesus known.

Dr. Jamie Dew

Jamie Dew is the president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Leavell College. Previously, he was the vice president for undergraduate studies and distance learning at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He holds an MDiv and PhD in theological studies from SEBTS, as well as a PhD in philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion from the University of Birmingham (UK). He is married to Tara, and they have two sets of twins

Collide 25 will have 7 Breakouts!

Choose 2 breakout for the weekend OR attend the service project as it account for both spots.

  • How can we as believers respond to the content on social media that we encounter and that we put out there. 

  • A breakout on how guys can pursue holiness and purity when it comes to relationships and content.

  • A breakout on how girls can pursue holiness and purity when it comes to relationships and content.

  • Society has a lot to say about identity these days. How should we as christians respond to what the world has to say.

  • A breakout on ways that you can use your gifts and talents to serve your local church and be evangelistic in your everyday life.

  • Have you sensed that God could be calling you into ministry? Do you have questions about what it looks like to work at a church, in missions, or a parachurch organization? In this breakout we hope to give insights into those questions and point students who may be called into ministry in the right direction.

  • Parents who would like to attend can come to this breakout where we will discuss how to navigate the constantly changing world we live in and disciple our children to do the same.
